Allowing children, at an age when they are choosing their path in life, to understand the complexity of societal and environmental issues, through wonder for what is, rather than fear of what might happen.
Our means:
Meet children from around the world and co-create podcasts with them that answer their questions.
Networking teachers, researchers and passionate locals to shape and bring into play data, visuals, videos and sourced information adapted to their age.
Mélisande
At Déjà Grands, there are volunteers, partners, institutions, and among them, there is me, Mélisande.
An urban planner specializing in citizen participation and an anthropologist by training, I decided to get involved, notably as co-founder and president of the Déjà Grands association, to show the beauty of our planet and its people.
Because I am convinced that imagination and wonder will be the keys to taking action.
Anna
I am a biologist from Barcelona with a PhD in molecular biology. I conduct research on childhood cancer in the Netherlands and Australia. I am also actively engaged in sustainability and climate action, including as a member of Homeward Bound.
At the beginning of June, we will reveal some great news for Déjà Grands! ( Coming soon )
The team behind the project
Déjà Grands brings together scientists, local relays and teachers to create podcast episodes and games in a format and with content adapted to children aged 7 to 11.
